I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!
This is a very belated birthday/christmas gift for my sister and her awesome room mate.
It took around 20+ hours over 2-3 months time. I went from motivated, to bored, to loving, to massive amounts of hatred, then to just wanting it done!
It's painted on a 19x30 piece of watercolor paper with, yes, watercolors. It was so big that I had to tape it to my desk. there is a lot of detail and layering done. In the end I am very proud, and very hated by class mates for this.
Yes I know about the orange blob in the middle. That fish is a loss cause. I:l
